Invictus
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
William Ernest Henley
I sure would like to see this movie..
two of my favorite actors...

Whose Fault Is It, Anyway?
It's Bill's fault that this apartment is an absolute mess
It's Bill's fault that I sit here with hair that needs washing
It's Bill's fault that I'm up at 2am instead of getting the sleep I need
It's Bill's fault that I'm up at 2am instead of getting the sleep I need
It's his fault that I stumble around empty packing boxes stacked up all over the apt.
It's his fault that the laundry (washed, dried and folded ) sits in the basket beside my desk instead of being put away where it belongs..
It's his fault that I have cereal for lunch ... milk and crackers for supper.. instead of making the effort to go to the grocery store
It's MUST be his fault

Rest In Peace...
"We are such spendthrifts with our lives. The trick of living is to slip on and off the planet with the least fuss you can muster. I'm not running for sainthood. I just happen to think that in life we need to be a little like the farmer, who puts back into the soil what he takes out."
Paul Newman
